No pitch deck, no discovery process, no sales funnel. Just a real conversation about what you're trying to do and whether I'm the right person to help you do it.
Both land in the same place eventually — a 30-minute call with me — but some people prefer to write first, and some prefer to just grab a slot.
Tell me a little about what you're working on and what\'s prompting you to get in touch. A paragraph or two is plenty — I\'d rather have enough context to reply usefully than have you spend an hour drafting a project brief.
roy@royjenks.comThirty minutes on Zoom or a phone call, your choice. No preparation required from your side — I\'ll ask some questions, you\'ll ask some, and by the end we\'ll both know whether this is worth a second conversation.
Book on CalendlyFour steps from first email to a decision. Usually takes about a week from the first message to both of us knowing whether we\'re working together.
Email or calendar booking. Both fine. Both go straight to me — no assistants, no filters.
Within one business day. Usually faster. If you emailed, I might ask a quick clarifying question before booking a call.
Thirty minutes. I ask about your situation; you ask about how I work. No deck, no agenda I'll force you through.
By the end of the call, one of three things: let\'s start, let\'s talk again with more info, or this isn\'t the right fit.
The things people ask before emailing. Answered up front.
Central European Time (UTC+1, UTC+2 in summer). Core working hours overlap with both UK and US East Coast comfortably.
Also occasional work with European SaaS companies. Happy to work with clients anywhere if the fit is right and the timezone isn\'t absurd.
I keep a short client list deliberately. If you email and I\'m fully booked, I\'ll tell you honestly and give you a realistic timeline.
